Musanga To Use Zippie’s Block-chain Technology To Launch Loyalty Program For Drivers.

Zippie last week announced its integration with three Zambian companies — Musanga, Tigmoo and Afridelivery — at the forefront of online business to the first ever block-chain rewards solution in Africa. It was held at the finish Embassy in Lusaka which was hosted by H.E. Pirjo Suomela-Choqdhury and in attendance was over 15 Zambian media houses. In a country that has a little over 10 million mobile phone users this kind partnership will allow companies to use block-chain technology to quickly optimize on their customer acquisition through rewards and build long term relationships with their clients.

Zippie has created a decentralized and collaborated loyalty engine built on block-chain which will bring multiple brands together to offer a brilliant way to impact businesses.This technology is growing and has reinvented reward programes as users of the platform will be rewarded with mobile airtime directly into their block-chain powered wallet which can easily be shared with other smartphone users just by sharing a link. In the future this tailored approach could grow to include conversion of points into electricity or other services offered by the other companies on the platform.

HOW IT WORKS

While customers appreciate being rewarded, they also value flexibility with redemption. This is where Zippie comes in as a solution. It will allow businesses to trade through a loyalty engine in a decentralized and open system. With the M-Points Rewards program drivers garner points for shipments made and when individual goals are reached, these can converted into airtime from the Zippie wallet. The M- Points digital loyalty program is the first of its kind for the mass market in Africa. Here’s how the drivers will earn on the app :

Drivers will be on boarded to the engine by providing simple details like name ,email and mobile number and they will immediately get 5 free points. With an earn rate of 5 points per trip we will have 3 tiers:

  1. 20 points earns the driver K 50
  2. 45 points earns the driver K 100
  3. 100 points earns the driver K 300

Supported by other customer-centric improvements that we have recently made, we at Musanga are excited to see how this partnership will offer strong support as well as commercial impact for the businesses involved.
