PLANETWATCH: THE GAME
Planetwatch is a game that turns your daily hustle and bustle into a fun gaming experience. Enjoy a whole new experience of online mobile gaming. As you wear our smart hybrid watch and get on with your life, rewards and boosts are created for you in the mobile game. Use them to build you home base and create a robot army. Defend your base from enemies and attack them back. Upgrade your robot troops and save the planet from a evil corporation. All this starts with simple activities like taking a stroll.
Game Story
The game is set in a post apocalyptic world, where the home planet has been destroyed. Survivors had left the uninhabitable planet and settled down in distant parts of the galaxy. Our hero, who is a space adventurer, and descendant of this forgotten civilization, discovers his home planet after several millennia. Slowly recovering from the nuclear destruction, the planet is now habitable and thriving with life, and with hints of previous civilization (buildings, monuments, landscapes, books, works of art, and artifacts).
Having lived in closed spaces and artificial habitats throughout his life, the hero is awestruck by the planet’s natural beauty and wide expanse. He falls in love with his ancestral planet and makes it his home. Living with his robot companions, he spends his time enjoying the nature, researching and preserving his ancestral heritage. During one of his explorations, he finds out that an evil galactic corporation is destroying this beautiful planet Our hero and his robot companions take it upon themselves to defend it.
Gameplay
Planetwatch is a massive multiplayer real-time mobile strategy game that integrates real life activities (walking, running and swimming) within the gameplay. Build your home base on the resources earned through your activities tracked by our hybrid smartwatch. Attack the enemy bases who are destroying our earth. In-game rewards are the resources generated within the game and these resources can then be used to progress in the game. As the users perform more activities in real life, they are is rewarded more in the game.
Three quarters of the game map is land mass and the rest is spanned by water body. What sets planetwatch apart from the current mobile strategy games is its introduction of land, water and air based combats. The army consists of land, water, amphibious and air units whereas the defence buildings (based on their category) can be placed in land, water or both. This leaves it to the user to decide on a strong base which can defend any sort of attack and an army capable of capturing a particular base.
How to play the game
As you wear our hybrid smartwatch and continue with your day to day life, it keeps a track of activities like walking, running and swimming. It generates in-game rewards for you depending on your level in the game and the effort that you have put in.
All these activities provide the user with two in-game resources (namely alloy and energy). Each of these resources can be used by the player to build the base, upgrade their defenses and other buildings, and upgrade the troops. Upgrading the defences help in better defending the base from attacks by other players. And upgrading the troops will help the user attack enemy bases with more ease as the troops gain higher attack power, hit points and new abilities. As you level up in the game by gaining experience, you can unlock more troops and buildings.
Combats involves two equally strong players defender and the attacker. Attacker uses his army to capture and loot the opponents base whereas defender with his defence buildings try to destroy the attacking army or hold back the attacker till the attack time runs out
Introducing challenges, where you can compete with your friends or anyone in the world, to finish a certain activity within a specified time. Completing these challenges can earn you bonus rewards.
So as a whole, this game would encourage you to perform well in your fitness activities and to create an immersive experience from it!.
