Sneak Peek: Bright Creek
Step into our magical mushroom world as we give you a preview of Bright Creek, Mushroom Mania’s first level on The Sandbox.
Mushroom Mania is a mushroom-themed adventure platformer with collect-a-thon mechanics that we are launching soon on The Sandbox, a voxel-based decentralized gaming platform. Played from a shrunken perspective, you are tasked to collect magic essence for a mischievous witch by completing challenges across a giant wilderness.
Bright Creek is our first level for Mushroom Mania. On its grassy plains, you’ll find yourself surrounded by giant trees and towering blades of grass. Magic essence is hidden across the land, so you must look in places high and low to find them.
Climb up and hop from one treetop to another, or explore the underbrush down below. You may also meet some other folk who are also forced to do the witch’s bidding!
Dive into the pond and you might just discover something totally unexpected. Looming over the area is a rocky mountain that also has some secrets (and enemies) of its own.
Here are some of the oversized props you can find in Bright Creek — these Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) will be coming to The Sandbox marketplace soon, for use by both players and creators!
