DJ Mixing Language

I’ve heard a lot about people playing music backwards. They call it backmasking & how it sounds like the devil. I’ve heard an example of a backmasked recording that made no sense at all. Just a bunch of noise.

It is said that backmasking started with the Beetles 1966 album Revolver. John Lennon played the tapes for the song “Rain” in reverse and liked the sound. ..
