Music Mogul Streaming Comps — How Do They Work?

Each week in Music Mogul, we will hold a global track streaming competition for a singular genre. We often refer to this type of competition as a PvPvP. This is one vs. many, as opposed to one vs. one.

Players will submit one or as many tracks as they like. Once a track is submitted, it will no longer be available to be submitted again.

Once all of the players have submitted their track before the entry deadline that week the code will then see how many streams every single track gets. The better the track, the more streams it will get. But even a low-rated track can get the most streams because the competition is all relative. If everyone has a low-quality track, the best one will win.

The Rankings will be posted as soon as they are available.

The payouts will be based on a fixed pool. The top 1000 streamed tracks will get their share of the C-Note token pool. Songs that finish outside the Top 1000 in the weekly genre streaming comp will not get anything.

There are two ways to play it. Try to get as many songs into the top 1000 as possible or get the best overall track. Which is the best approach? That remains to be seen.

The number of tracks that get rewarded can expand or contract depending on what player behaviors we observe.
