Following our user testing we spent time refining the User Experience, definining the visual language, and planning our video concept.

Partners Research

Based on some research on how music licensing worked in live streaming we discovered that there would be signficant licensing issues with downloading content. We decided that users looking to watch past concerts would have to pay or subscribe to a membership program in order to access it later on.

Defining the UX

Following out user test it was clear that we had some gaps in the experience. To address this we took a step back and created a wire flow of the overall app experience that eplained the overall user flow as well as the structure of the app. Through this process we uncovered a need for a shopping experience which would allow users to buy brand merchandise as well as the VR equipment needed for experiencing our service.

Prototyping Virtual Reality

We also spent time trying to figure out how to prototype in virtual reality. We user framer to demonstrate the technical feasibility.

Updated Wireframes

Based on the updated flow we updated our wireframes to reflect the latest changes.

Visual Exploration

In conjunction with addressing some of the UX issues we uncovered we spent time doing visual exploration for the app. Our goal was to have the visual language of the app feel energetic to reflect the experience of going to a live concert.

Storyboarding

As a group we worked out the storyboard for our service design video. We decided to take a live action route rather than an animation in order to bring our concept to life. We felt this approach would make our service feel more convincing as well as situate it within an everyday context.
