Any Given Sunday at Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church by Jason Vargas

What I saw on Sunday was amazing and peaceful. It was soothing to hear and see everyone come together on a Sunday afternoon and be at peace and watch these young kids play their instruments and get everybody attentions and support on what they did. The church was very nice and to be in it and watch everybody and how they reacted in the church. These young kids performed a little jazz show at the end and they were very dynamic they knew how to play.

How I felt being there was good I like to always go to new places and see new things for my own experience and this church was very passionate as soon as I walked in they had door mans there and they will hand out their surveys to you as soon as you walk in or will ask you do you need one. I like the idea the church had in instead of using a device or some type of technology to play music they used real instruments and showed these kids how to express them selves and how to perform. Although I came late to the church, the time that I was there was very inspirational, I couldn’t help but notice how nice the church was the setup that the church had was really nice. Who ever hadn’t been there should probably go just at least once so they can see what I’m talking about and how the people in the church act even when everybody was singing together, everybody was singing as one and everybody starting clapping together to.

There was a rhythm in the room when everybody starting clapping and it felt like once these boys started playing their instruments everybody souls lifted. Being in the church was a good experience and just being around these people and knowing there here to be at peace and there were a lot of people that was there to the seats were filled up. Being able to have this opportunity I had to take advantage of it so that is what I did and it turned out to be a really nice experience for me. I would love to go back to the church and get to be able to see these kids perform again, hear more sounds from them. Watching and listening to these kids was the best time I had there being that I came late and also seeing how the church looked that was also good.
