Arctistic is a self-managed band based in Montreal with frontman, Nicolas Pirti-Duplessis, from Akulivik, Nunavik, Quebec.

The debut album “Ukiuq”, meaning “Winter” in Inuktitut, is a contemporary Inuit alternative rock album with many nostalgic sounds.

Arctistic is an independent self written (lyrics and music), self-managed and self-produced band through Ukalik Records. As their cool logo illustrates, Ukalik means hare.

Their debut album ‘Ukiuq’, meaning ‘Winter’ has a professional sound. The album was written in three languages, English, French and Inuktitut.
