We saw online that the band The Who is going on tour around the US.
The closest city to us is in Cincinnati.
Bob, my man loves the band The Who. I'm more of an old Broadway pop singer so I’m not as much into The Who but of course, I loooooved the rock opera Tommy and a few other classics (not necessarily the theme song from C.S.I though… Eh!!) That song has lost it‘s pizazz after hearing it so often on TV.
Anyway…tomorrow The Who tickets go on sale. Bob and I wanna go. Cincinnati's not far away. I’m not sure how much the tickets will be. We decided to both take a guess. Whoever got closest without going over (as Bob Barker said) would win a …PRIZE?
Bob is betting on $2O0 a ticket , maybe more for a nosebleed seat.
I'm guessing $175.
We’ll see who is closer tomorrow.
OK, I just checked today and — Bob wins! The lowest nose bleed seats are $174 to $2,970 a seat for the prime spots. Damn!
Well, if we do get tickets we’ll be so far up in the stands it might be better to just stay home and watch the concert from our living room!
We thought about other performers we wouldn't mind seeing before
1. they retire,
2. get too old to perform properly or
We compiled a quick list.
The Rollinf Stones
The Beach Boys (well — Brian Wilson alone)
Hootie and the Blowfish
Have we left anyone out? Feel free to add to this list.
Happy weekend all!
