Vídeo-ensaio: A metáfora do HIV/AIDS em “A Bela e a Fera”, por Marcella Tonini

Resumo: O vídeo-ensaio abaixo apresenta uma leitura sobre o filme A Bela e a Fera de 1991, baseada no artigo do jornalista Dan Rather para o jornal Los Angeles Times “A Metáfora da AIDS em A Bela e a Fera”. Além disso, aprofundo a análise, relacionando a Fera com o mito ao redor do suposto “Paciente Zero” da AIDS, comparando a animação da Disney e o filme militante canadense de 1992, Zero Patience (Paciência Zero). (Os filmes, as imagens e as músicas presentes nesse vídeo ensaio, não são de minha autoria.)
