How to Buy Musiconomi Tokens (MCI)
Hello everyone and thanks for reading this how-to on purchasing the MCI token for use on the Musiconomi platform.
If you are new to the world of Blockchain, no problem; we are going to make this super-easy, although there are a few more steps than just entering a credit card at this point in time.
The first item to cover is how you can convert your local money or ‘fiat’ money into a cryptocurrency that will allow you to purchase MCI on an exchange.
Step 1. Buy Bitcoin on Coinbase (USA, Worldwide) or Quadriga (Canada)
An account must be registered at one or the other services and then you can link a bank account or a credit card. Verification can often take more than 24 hours.

Step 2. Move the purchased Bitcoin from Coinbase or Quadriga to an exchange to purchase MCI
The only current exchange that is officially supported by Musiconomi is Cryptopia. You will also need to have a valid account on Cryptopia to exchange the tokens.
Step 3. Buying the MCI tokens
Once you have setup your account on Cryptopia you can then search under the BTC link for MCI to access the BTC/MCI trading page.
The next few steps are easy once you get the hang of how the exchange works.
Exchange Step 1.
Left-Click the price you want to pay in BTC. If you want to buy at the top sell price that’s the top line as shown below.

Review the price populated in the yellow box shown below.
Exchange Step 3.
Click the Buy MCI button.
That’s was easy, right?
Ok, now for the last step on buying MCI, checking your balance on the exchange.
Near your profile link on the upper right of the webpage you will see the Bitcoin symbol. Click that and choose Balances.
You should see your MCI balance and can add it as a favourite for later when you come back to buy more and move it to the Musiconomi platform when it’s live. (Coming in 2018)
