How Does It Happen? A Discussion About the Events at the End of the Bible

I have been thinking about the events mentioned at the end of the Bible. This article is a discussion about all the factors that need to be taken into consideration when trying to understand this part of the Bible. It is presented as an aid to formulating interpretation of the last events on Earth mentioned in the Bible.
We can start with 1Thessalonians 4: 16,17 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. In this verse it seems the Lord Jesus descends from heaven but does not go beyond meeting the Christians in the air. He returns with them to heaven. This is the end of the Church age. Not a single genuine Christian will be left on Earth at this time.
This is an event when every genuine Christian — those who have died, and those who still live, ( known as the Church of Jesus Christ) will be taken to heaven. This is Apostle Paul writing.
