New Testament Revelation: Why We Do Not Accept It
BEHOLD I MAKE ALL THINGS NEW
When you think about it and consider the Author and maker of the Revelation in the New Testament, we should expect that announcement to be something spectacular and far beyond anything this world, as we know it, has to offer. The ‘NEW’ of the New Testament comes directly from God, brought into being by the divine Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.
The ‘BEHOLD’ in Behold I make all things new means God wishes us to pay attention to what is said. Pay attention, God is saying, that which I make is new. The dictionary meaning of new: recently created, having started to exist only recently, different from before, recently made, original, freshly made, never in use before. Therefore we should expect to find in the New Testament something completely new from God. Something you would not previously have been able to access.
That is the mindset God expects us to approach the New Testament with. If we do not approach the New Testament that way, we will not be open to receive its message. Forces are afoot that have the intention of concealing the depth of the message from us. Religion has always been the enemy of the complete light and truth of the message.
