If there are people who can testify to the accuracy of these lyrics, I am one of them. If you’re looking for a cheat code to become a favourite of God, get speedy answers to your prayers, and grow more intimate with Jesus, it is worship.
One of the easiest ways to activate a release of angels is by worshipping God. This is because, in Heaven, angels worship the Most High God continuously, and are immersed in an atmosphere of worship, hence, they easily gravitate to that same atmosphere of worship on earth.
Thus, when worship is your lifestyle, you are constantly inviting angels into your atmosphere, to take charge of your life and to guide you. Angels are ministering spirits, servants of God sent to provide answers to prayers and activate miracles.
Sometimes you’ve prayed to the best of your ability but there are still no answers, it is at this point you should begin worshipping God, in spirit and in truth.
There are countless times I’ve received miracles just by worshipping God wholeheartedly, without praying.
God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
John 4 : 24
We were created to worship God and bring glory to him. One outstanding quality David had was his love for worshipping God. David was a man of worship, through praises, thanksgiving, and dances, he worshipped God everywhere and anywhere, and that made him a man after God’s heart.
When you worship God, you are fulfilling your purpose on earth. This will make God acknowledge and lift you, he will sustain and protect you so that you can keep worshipping him on earth because only the living can praise God.
Worship is a lifestyle. When you make worship your lifestyle, you awaken your spiritual sight. God is looking for worshippers who will shake the heavens and the earth, worshippers who will destabilize the kingdom of darkness, worshippers who will perform miracles and deliver the oppressed just by singing in spirit and in truth.
The enemy cannot stand a believer worshipping God in spirit and in truth, Satan knows the importance of worshipping God and the levels of power it can unlock in your life. Remember, it was one of the lead singers in heaven before it became proud and was thrown down.
As a result, it will do its best to attack your worship. You will realise that anytime you are worshipping God, you suddenly become distracted, you start thinking of unnecessary things you weren’t thinking of before the worship and you easily lose focus.
That is an attack to prevent you from worshipping God in spirit and in truth, worshipping God wholeheartedly to prevent speedy answers to your prayers.
When you notice this, do not lose that connection you feel with God during that moment of worship. Stay connected, keep the joy, love, and gratitude you have for God flowing through your heart. Picture instances of God being good to you if you can. This redirects your mind from any distracting thought back to God.
Also, include praying against the spirit of distraction during your worship time with God as a prayer point.
Repentance
If one turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.
Proverbs 28 : 9
God will not receive an unbeliever’s worship, if you have not given your life to Christ and you want to surrender your life to him, kindly say this:
Lord Jesus, I believe that you died on the Cross of Calvary for my sins and that you love me dearly. Today I confess that you are my Lord and personal Savior. I surrender my life, body, soul, and spirit to you as I invite you to come and dwell in my heart. I confess and forsake every sin hindering me from experiencing your saving grace (mention the sin). Please accept me today, and make me free from the grip of death, hell, and sin. Thank you, Lord, in Jesus’ name I’ve prayed, Amen.
