WHAT YOU’LL NEEDED

1/4 water
8 tb spoons of liquid castile soap
1 tb spoon of olive oil
1 tb spoon of lemon juice (don’t use lemon if you have oily hair)
1 tb spoon of honey
1 cup of plain yogurt

Hand mix blender

Plastic container with screw on lid

You can add 10/20 drops of your favorite fragrance oil to mask odor.

Add water into a pot and bring to the boil, add 8 tb spoons of castile soap into a separate heat proof bowl; castile soap is made using pure and simple ingredients and essential oils.
Pour boiling water over soap and gently stir until soap has melted.
Mix olive oil, lemon juice, honey and yogurt into separate bowl. Using blender whip mixture until it’s creamy.
Mix the castile soap and yogurt mixture together, stirring well, then pour into your plastic bottle container, leave-it to cool down, then store it in the fridge.
Not only will this save you money, but the protein in the yogurt can help repair cuticle damage and split ends and the acid in the yogurt works towards a smoother and shinier appearance.

YOGURT AND EGG FOR HEALTHY HAIR

2 beaten eggs
1 shower cap

Place the yogurt, almond oil and the beaten eggs into a bowl and mix into a paste, then apply the paste onto your hair starting from the roots to the ends.
Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave it for 30 minutes, then wash out with sulphate free shampoo.

YOGURT / COCONUT OIL HAIR MASK/CONDITIONER

Yogurt is no stranger and can be found in almost every fridge,it looks good as an edible snack on a plate and also as an hydrating treatment on your head. Yogurt due to its organic acids works well on reducing grease and buildup of dirt on hair strands.
Some benefits contained in yogurt are NIACIN — activates hair growth, CHOLINE — promotes blood flow in the follicles, accelerating growth, CALCIUM — gives hair volume and density, LODINE — strengthens the follicles on the root, preventing hair loss. Yogurt is also rich in ZINC and LACTIC ACID, which makes it a great hydration treatment, leaving the hair soft and with shine.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

4 tb spoons of yogurt
2 tb spoons of aloe vera gel
2 tb spoons of coconut oil

Mix ingredients into a bowl.
Apply to damp hair using a tinting brush making sure you cover the roots, middle and ends.
Cover with shower cap for 30 minutes / 1 hour.
Rinse thoroughly and wash with a sulphate free shampoo.

TREATING DANDRUFF

The anti fungal properties and acid in lemon juice works to stabilize your scalp’s pH and oil production, whilst the honey and yogurt moisturize and nourish your hair.

WHAT YOU NEED

½ cup of Yogurt
1 tb spoon of lemon juice
1 tb spoon of honey

Mix the ingredients in a bowl until you get a smooth mixture.
With a tinting brush, apply to the hair starting at the roots, middle and then the ends.
