Muxy has a brand new media tab! It’s far more intuitive, and we’ve added a media library. Upload and store gifs, WebMs, and audio files to use in your alerts.
We’ve also added a fun way to customize your Cheer Cup. All Cheer Cups are now branded with a subtle, frosted Muxy logo (just like a real etched pint glass!) You can remove this logo from the Cheer page if you’d prefer a clear Cup, or replace it with your own logo if you wish. We will post a tutorial showing how to make your logo look like etched glass in Photoshop later this week.
There’s also a new version of Ticker that includes files for Cheer and more customization options.

Added
- Muxy Ticker now has a full complement of cheer-related files! Track your top cheer leaders per-session, or over all time!
- You can now choose how many entries Ticker should track per-file, up to a maximum of 10.
- Also added cumulative amounts for donations and cheer.
- New media asset library lets you see all image, video and sound files you’ve uploaded!
- New alerts can have media added to them from your asset library, no more uploading the same file multiple times.
- Broadcasters using the cheer cup can now upload an image that will be displayed on top of the cup.

- Alerts of the same type in the same package that are not otherwise constrained, will now be chosen at random.
- Cheer statistics now appear on the ‘Past Sessions’ page.
- Better error handling around file uploads.
- Sped up the alert system a bit.
- Added one-click URL copying to other places URLs are displayed on site.
Fixed
- Fixed a bug in the profanity filter that would sometimes catch innocent words.
- Inactive users’ tip pages will no longer show up.
