First of all, i know that i don’t have any ideas about the whole context , Youtube has strong ergonomists, usability tests, designers, analytics to make the interface become better and better. I am not saying it is better, and i didn’t include all aspects. It’s just like concept cars. You can still come up with ideas, even if it is not going to be a real car, you can take inspiration for real one. read more

Hey all,

Had a chance this past week to do a quick reimagine of Amazon. Please note that this was a purely creative exercise and if ever given the chance to truly redesign Amazon it would be a slow and iterative process that was backed up by data, research and testing.

The concept that is presented in this full size motion mockup here is called “Amazon Hot Deals.”

The basic concept is that Amazon would serve time sensitive deals based on your preferences and buying habits.

I had some free time, so i made this one just for fun. I am working on real stuff for clients. I will be able to show them in about 2 weeks so stay tuned :p

This one is just a quick preview of a Skype mac version. I didn’t have time to really work on the contact management so don’t be too harsh. I start this design from the current Skype version for mac.
