Hollywood Vampires Going on Summer Tour

Rock band Hollywood Vampires are moving out on tour this summer, with a lot of festivals and one-off dates starting from May to July.

The band — Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, Aerosmith’s Joe Perry and Guns N’ Roses’ Duff McKagan — declared nine international dates on Perry’s official website. The tour starts on May 27 at the Rock in Rio festival Lisbon, Portugal, reaching Sweden, Denmark and Romania before coming back stateside for a chain of Midwest shows. It finishes on July 25 at the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles.

“We have to thoroughly plan the Vampires,” Alice Cooper explained to Rolling Stone. “That’s due to the fact that you have Johnny’s movie timetable; you have got Aerosmith, you have got Guns N’ Roses and you have got me! Its five artists going in five distinct ways. To bring those people all at one time when we are not working is special. So everyone is looking at their work schedule and you have to locate that two weeks where everybody’s off.”
