Ha! A new hang out place in Intramuros! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

Café Pression opened (soft-opening) in Intramuros before the month of October ended. It gained a lot of attention from the students of different universities within Intramuros.

Café Pression is located at Intramall which is near to Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, Mapúa Institute of Technology, Lyceum of the Philippines University — Manila, and Colegio de San Juan de Letran. This cutesy type of coffee shop is quite new for us students in Intramuros. Before, we tend to go to other places like Taft, Mendiola, and Maginhawa to find coffee and food places like this.

This big wall full of pictures and signs of their customers welcomed us inside Café Pression. The staff greeted us, my friends, and me. It’s a plus point that the staff assisted us in finding a great spot or table.

I love the design of their counter and their working area. The design is really cute and bubbly. It reminded me of Korean-styled coffee shops/restaurants.

The ambiance of the coffee shop is quite simple; simple in a good way. there are cubicles of different sizes with a table at the center. The variety of sizes of the cubicles surely indicates that this coffee shop can accommodate a solo goer or a group of pals.

The place is cute with its designs and the post-its sticking on the wall. The wooden floor and other furnishings added a relaxing feeling. Although it lacks a natural ventilation, the coffee shop is quite cool. The place is almost perfect but there’s a couple of things I didn’t like about the place: the ceiling is too low, and the other customers are too noisy. For a minute, it felt like we’re inside a bar rather than a coffee shop. (Party-party po sila ateng sa kabilang table!)

Now let’s look at the food and drinks offered at Café Pression!

We ordered bunch of drinks. Upon ordering, the cashier will give you a handheld device which will vibrate once your order is ready for pick-up.

One thing I really really liked is that their presentation of the food and drinks is really nice! They are Instagram worthy! Here are the drinks we’ve ordered:

Time for some crazy sexy food porn shots! too-roo-roo-roo (basta sensual music ‘yan.)

First of all, I’m really not into coffee but I really liked Café Pression’s Caramel Macchiato, 160 pesos (right).

Next up, Pression Java Chip, 180 pesos. (This is so good!) It’s not too sweet and not too bitter.

These two are Café Pression’s Hazelnut Latte. 160 pesos. They are still good but kind of bland for my taste.[/caption]

They also serve cakes and sandwiches! One of my schoolmates (@jejejester, Christian Jester Abu) said to me that their cakes are really good and goes well with Cafe Pression’s drinks! 🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰

Cafe Pression is a really great spot for hanging out with friends. Well for me, it ‘s now one of my after class go-to place. If you picked the right time in going there, you might get a spot that’s great for study sessions and long reviews. I’ll definitely go to this coffee shop again. See you there! (perhaps) 😃😃😃
