MXC M2 PRO FAQ

The MXC Foundation received a large founding round during the MXC ICO process in our inaugural year of 2018. At this time, many of the large investors invested, not only into MXC as a company, but also into our long-term vision for the future of global data. The vision to become a Decentralized Global Data Network payment system was a unique opportunity for many to get involved in the data future.

As a result of this, and in consultation with our range of impressive investors ranging from Huobi, Atlantic Labs, VeChain, LongHash, IOSG Ventures through to JD.com we spoke of a vision of hosting a decentralized network, a network that would spread the globe and allow anyone to join and receive data. This is a data future, one that has never been witnessed before.

As a result of this vision, the mining funds come from two key areas, early investors, who realize the need to sustain a robust new-age global data network, and from the MXC buy-back, which up until 2019 had raised close to $12 Million in buy-backs and will continue to raise more buy-back rounds in order to recover $MXC.

This $MXC token is then used to promote the new-age Global Data Network, sustaining growth and availability to future network users, devices, and sensors. Think of it this way, $MXC is laying down the infrastructure for future data transmissions, just like 5G, Railway or any logistical infrastructure, this takes time, this takes money, $MXC is building the world’s Data Network.

This is an ambitious goal, but as MXC is already ahead of forecasts, we believe it is one that we will achieve, this is the power of the M2 Pro and the power of the MXC Community!

The M2 Pro works seamlessly with the DataDash App. The DataDash App allows users to monitor their mining activity, adjust their mining and staking needs, and withdraw their mined/staked tokens. The DataDash is a sleek and super simple app.

The MXC Foundation will continue to develop a wide range of “on the go” products, which will integrate with the DataDash App. We look forward to building the DataDash App into a hub for tokens, mining, data trading, and the functional usage of M2 Pro devices and sensors, with the ability to monitor and control their data and general functionality.

The MXC Foundation is based in Berlin, Germany. In operation since 2018, MXC launched with a global tour including the areas of: Berlin (Germany), Singapore, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing, Taiwan, Melbourne (Australia), Seoul (Korea), Tokyo (Japan), New York (USA) and Silicon Valley (USA). We intend to be a global token, hence the global tour. The MXC is a utility token, and we are uniquely designed to become a global payment method for data transmissions, allowing future data growth and effortless connectivity.

Although MXC headquarters is based in Berlin, Germany, MXC is a global movement and as a company, we are dedicated to continuing our global vision.

MatchX is a sister company of MXC, MatchX focuses purely on the hardware side of operations, and is the sole producer of the bespoke M2 Pro Crypto Miner. Based in Berlin, MatchX uses their German engineering skills and their commitment to intelligent technology, ensuring the M2 Pro is a high quality, easy to use device.

The MXC Foundation is committed to creating a vibrant data network. To do this, we must ensure that miners stay active, but how does $MXC ensure that miners stay active? By continuing the PoP process, it is in the interest of $MXC, Miners, and the Data community to keep the M2 Pro miners in operation for as long as possible. Our goal is to have this network fully self-sustainable, but we also realize this will take time, this is a journey we are prepared to walk together, with our miners and community.

With regard to the M2 Pro miner and the material and product itself, we expect our award-winning M2 Pro Miner to continue to function as a data network powerhouse for up to 10 years. That’s German engineering, that’s high-class materials, that’s MatchX quality!

You can view your, and many other M2 Pro on MXCMapper.com this is a website where you can see most of the M2 Pro that are connected to Data Dash and from whom we receive a “heartbeat”. Miners who do not demonstrate a heartbeat will not show on this map.

M2 Pro Miners are highlighted in BLUE, for other LPWAN / LoRA devices, they are in GREY. We show both of these elements for a key reason, we are here to promote “LPWAN” and “LoRa Technologies” as a basis for our existence. Without this decentralized network, there is no Data Network, so the MXCMapper site allows and promotes new users to this technology to see the length and breadth of this groundbreaking, global data network. We believe in LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network) and wherever we can, we will promote this technology.

MXCMapper.com is manually updated by our developer team at MXC, there may be a slight lag in the updating of the map, but we will continue to endeavor to keep it relevant for all users.

You will notice that the M2 Pro listed on the MXCMapper.com aren’t showing an “exact” location, the reason we do this is to protect the identity of our users, this is also because, as a German company, we are under strict EU orders to protect the identity and location of all of our users, this is GDPR at work. You may notice some GREY devices in some peculiar places, e.g.: Antarctica or in the Ocean, this, once again, is a demonstration of the decentralized and global reach of LPWAN and our friends at TTN, we certainly hope to see the M2 Pro in all continents across the globe very soon. This is our vision, and we can achieve this together!

No, the M2 Pro mines without the need or dependence of another miner. The fact is, LORAWAN or LPWAN or LORA, the technology on which the M2 Pro operates, is an independent and decentralized technology. By having to force miners to rely on other devices that are out of their control goes against the very aspect we stand for, data decentralization!

As a result, a single M2 Pro Miner can change your region, your city, and your world! Simply connect, ensure high elevation, and you are a part of our MXC Global Movement. Mining should be decentralized, mining should be simple!

Would an M2 Pro interfere with any other telecommunication devices?

The M2Pro is certified to operate under FCC/CE/RCM/IC/KC and TELEC regulations for radio equipment. Our hardware and software operates safely and within local radio limits, complying with local regulations.

The M2 Pro uses radio frequencies, so your M2 Pro frequency is just as safe as turning on your radio at home.

Can I relocate my M2 Pro?

Yes, you can take your M2 Pro across the room, across the street or across the country! Please note that for the time the M2 Pro is disconnected, it cannot mine. Furthermore, if you are planning on changing country, please get in touch with the team at MXC hello@mxc.org to ensure your M2 Pro will still function according to international requirements.

As we continue to roll out the MXProtocol, mining will be affected by things such as elevation, network distribution, and withdrawals. The MXC Foundation developers are setting up a “health bar” which will offer individual users transparency for their M2 Pro, allowing everyone to be able to see the health of their M2 Pro and make changes to increase the mineability of their M2 Pro.

So it’s all up to me?

The M2 Pro is probably the simplest Crypto Miner you will ever use or install. You do not have to be a professional Crypto miner. In fact, over 90% of our mining community has never mined before! We think this is sensational, since we’re opening up the world of mining to a whole new range of people.

The M2 Pro is a powerful long-range Crypto Miner, where others can only dream of reaching a maximum of 300 meters, the M2 Pro covers up to 1,256 square kilometers. This is high-quality, German-engineered hardware, this is the M2 Pro!

Put simply, MXC is building a Global Data Network. We do this to ensure massive amounts of data are sent second by second, imagine billions upon billions of data packets traveling across this purpose-built data network? To do this we must first ensure the data network is strong enough and powerful enough to facilitate that many transactions, as a result the MXC Foundation and its investors are facilitating the POP or “Proof of Participation” Token Mining Model, yes this model literally allows for any token to be mined.

Currently, we are reviewing our GitHub activity in consultation with our partner MatchX. At present, as MatchX is a privately held company, some of their IP is protected. You may see others offering submissions on GitHub. This is because they are using “off the shelf” technology, usually based on open-source Raspberry Pi. Nevertheless, as we stand for transparency we will look to release on GitHub to show just how the M2 Pro is dominating in the LPWAN field.

We like to think so, however, at the end of the day, our reputation is only as good as how we serve our supporters and the wider community. MXC stands for truth and transparency, and we work with some of the biggest names in and out of the crypto industry:

  • MXC is building on Polkadot to work on the future of Blockchain Parachains, and is featured as an example of an IoT protocol
  • MXC signs Huobi, operating a fully integrated Huobi Supernode on the MXC DataDash App
  • Shanghai, Yang-Pu District Government signs an exclusive Smart City Deal with MXC
  • $MXC token is listed on the world’s biggest exchanges: Huobi, OKEx, Bithumb, Gate, UniSwap and BiBox
  • MXC’s M2 Pro receives official certification in the United States of America, Australia, Europe (EU), Korea, Japan + More. . .

MXC is a company that focuses on strong corporate governance, with the plan to be leading the world of Data for generations to come. This is an exciting journey of discovery and sustainable growth!

In a world where Crypto enthusiasts have been told to be wary, we, at MXC, stand for honesty, transparency, communication, and support. Support, in building the blockchain future, and we can’t wait to have you join us on this monumental journey!
