🤖 New Partner: Digital Matter

Our sister company, MatchX, is in the process of onboarding a new partner for Device Provisioning — Digital Matter — based in South Africa. Digital Matter delivers best-in-class IoT asset tracking solutions for businesses, and is a leader in developing low-power GPS hardware.

Additionally, MatchX has secured ISACA certification. This means that the M2 Pro can be used as the backbone of the South African IoT infrastructure, processing billions of terabytes of data. The team look forward to collaborating with leaders in low-power IoT asset tracking, as well as to tackling infrastructure bottlenecks, one of the prevailing problems in the field.

On top of that, all members of the mining community will now be able to start their own IoT project. All Digital Matter devices are compatible with the MXC Network, enabling anyone to set up their own IoT projects and actualize their own use-cases.

🌐 In Conversation: ElinkSmart

MXC is always working on developing the smart and connected world of the future. As part of this mission, the Foundation has recently talked to smart city company ElinkSmart.

ElinkSmart have a lot of LPWAN sensors available, including air quality sensors, door sensors, and smart locks, among many others. Together, we are exploring the possibility of #sharetoearn and #securitytoearn. You can check out their page here!

🍸 NFC Gin NFT

Breaking news alert! The MXC Foundation has minted its first NFC tag as an NFT on OpenSea! We will be listing an extremely rare collection of gin, to showcase one of the uses of the NFT-NFC. Anyone will be able to purchase this NFT-NFC on the OpenSea marketplace.

In case you don’t know, NFC stands for “Near Field Communication”, and using an NFC tag together with a rare or one-of-a-kind item allows the purchaser to ensure its authenticity. Combining this technology with NFTs, allows the MXC Foundation to harness the public nature of the blockchain to openly track ownership status. To read more on this you can check this link!
