Woke up 4:15 am.

It’s that I see what competition does to people. It forces us to do things we wouldn’t otherwise do. We’re preoccupied with how we look compared to others. And that’s why we can’t enjoy our lives the way we could were we not preoccupied with competition.

Again, I find the argument that a significant part of our progress as species is based on competition ludicrous. Why? Because the price most of us pay for this progress is humongous.
