Cultivating the Page

We need the disconnect that the page provides. Without it, we cannot give our ideas form. Their clarity in our minds rarely resembles the true expressed form.

We need the page to show us our skill, along with its development.

With practice, we are not the same writers we were a year ago. We progress sentence by sentence, word by word.
Blogging is helpful with this — just saying.

The only truth is our practice. Its final form the true expression.

Blogging is like sketching. Quick practice that is moving towards a greater project. This practice cultivates skill.

And once our skill gets to the point where we can express what we see in our minds clear enough for our audience, we have arrived.
