The older we get, the older we can see the cycles. Whether or not the progression is organic is beside the point. Our perception is what counts.

Five years. That seems to be the number. Development, true and slow development, crystallizes after five years. After that occurs the new cycle begins, bringing with it all of its unique challenges and tests.

We always have Dragons to face. The story of the Hydra might be more of an apt metaphor. With every conquest completed, a new conquest presents itself — such is life.
