Sacrifice

We sacrifice to go after what we want regardless of the outcome. Guarantees are a luxury not granted. Like a religious ceremony, we sacrifice that which we cherish for the faith that we can change our future. We know well that the future is promised to none of us.

But that does not mean we should not strive.
