Stories and Approach

Stories show us that we are not alone.

We are all connected through our experiences. Sure, the colors vary, but the fundamentals are the same.

We will live, love, lose, and gain. We will be overcome with just how lucky we are and lament at times, asking, “why me?”

These ups and downs are pure experience without rationale. Stories provide a frame for this life.
We tell them to ourselves, about ourselves. We tell stories about the world as we see it.

None of it is true, but that doesn’t matter — to think so misses the point.

We don’t know anything. That’s it.

If there is truth out there, it is not something we can touch. But stories get us closer than we would otherwise.
