Take the Hit

Taking a hit to our pride is never easy. And while it’s difficult, it is necessary for growth. We have to expose ourselves to the possibility of failure. That’s the only way we know we’re out there.

The arena is filled with danger, and with that danger comes the possibility of glory. But maybe you’re looking for something else.

Achievement also lives in the arena. And if that is your measure or goal, so be it.

Anytime we put a creative art into the world we are entering the arena. There is no guarantee that our pride will make it out. We relinquish any form of protection. Protection has a way of holding us back.

Making yourself available to take the hit is the only way you’ll see if you can withstand it.
