Five minutes is enough to get started. Sometimes, our unrealistic expectations of the writing process leads us to believe that things need to be perfect, with everything in its place. That kind of thinking weighs us down.

We intimidate ourselves by comparing our process with an unrealistic view of the process of others we consider more successful.

Their process is just as down, dirty, and frustrating as our own.
