The Friend, Unknown
When we cultivate writing skills, it translates to other facets of our lives. We can view and deconstruct problems in ways that many others seem unable to. Becoming comfortable with the unknown through becoming accustomed to the blank page instills courage.
Maybe it isn’t like that just for writers. Maybe anyone who has learned the discipline and experienced the suffering of trying to create something from nothing can approach other unrelated challenges with the same courage.
Our comfort with the unknown allows us to face it where others would turn away.
