Those Who Know

Those we think of as the authorities are still learning themselves. We have no idea how they got where they were. We can assume, and usually in that assumption we put ourselves in an inferior place. We really have no idea what trials, tribulations or assumptions those leaders went through first.

On our own learning path we are always coming from a point of ignorance, and it is easy to forget that everyone else is, too.

That’s a freeing thought, isn’t it?

When we realize that, we take agency in understanding that we have things to add to the conversation. Do not be intimidated by what you do not know.

There will always be more to learn.

Those who know, or think they know, will often need to be reminded of things forgotten in their own process. People who are advanced also need beginners as reminders.

The process is reciprocal and mutually beneficial.
