It’s easy to lose sight of the difficulty, to believe that you’ve finally got it. Just when you are sure, the Resistance raises its ugly head and reminds you of the cost.

This is a treacherous life we have chosen, filled with doubt and uncertainty. Being a writer is to live in constant existential angst.

But what other choice do we have?

This is our path, and we will die before we give it up. Without the path, there is no life.
