When The Love Is Lost

There is a point where you fall in love with the story and not the idea. This is a powerful moment; it needs to be cherished.

We aren’t aware of all of the puzzle pieces as we build them.

In reality, it is only once we have finished a draft that we are able to have some concept of what we have made. We must accept that what we have might be very different from what we were attempting. How exciting is that?

These projects of ours have the possibility of taking on lives of their own. But they must be given time. That is where the dedication and sweat comes in.

The creative process is a rough road and it is easy, so easy, to fall and give up

when the passion we had for the idea expires and we are left alone with our story.

But if you stick it out, well, that’s true love.
