Here is an explanation of charge actions performed in battle.

Overview

  • "Charge Action" is a choice made in the middle of a battle deciding rather or not to continue the match beyond that point.
  • Occurs after card selection in Round 1 and Round 2.
  • If you want to continue the match, you must use Kami-Points (KP)
(or BP, depending on the battle type)
  • The required KP is taken from the cards in your current hand that round.
  • The amount of KP required depends on the situation and the Charge Action you choose.
  • You can also choose to "Escape” to get out of the game.
  • There is a time limit on Charge Actions. (10 seconds)
  • All KPs used from Charge Actions will be accumulate in the Pool.

Types of Charge Actions

Different Charge Actions exist depending on the situation.

(1) If no one has yet to Charge KP in the current round.

Charge Action
  • Charge
This action uses KP equal to the previous round’s pool x charge factor (varies depending on battle type) to continue participating in the game.
  • Wait
This is an action where you forgo a charge and wait to see what happens.

(2) If someone has already charged KP in that round

Charge Action
  • Equal Charge
An action that uses the same amount of KP as the maximum amount of KP for that round to stay in the game.
  • Re-Charge
An action that uses the maximum amount of KP for the round x the Recharge Factor (varies depending on battle type) to stay in the game. Only one person can perform this action in each round.
This is a more aggressive action than Equal Charge.
  • Hyper Charge
This is an action that allows you to use a certain amount of KP (*recharge factor: varies depending on the battle type) after recharging to stay in the game. Only one player can perform this action in each round.
This is an action that can be taken by only one player in each round. It is an even stronger action than Recharge.
  • Escape
To withdraw from a game. You will lose the game and lose any KP you have used to Charge thus far. After escaping, you can no longer play until the next game.

(3) If the KP of the card is less than the required KP for each charge action

Full Charge
  • Full Charge
Use all the remaining KP of a card and continue to participate in the game.
A [FULL] symbol appears above each charge action in the summary situation.
If you select an action with a “Full Charge”, the amount of KP you win will be adjusted according to the amount of KP you used in that action.
If a player chooses “Full Charge” and fails to win the game, the card loses its KP and disappears.
If a player has a “Full Charge”, all subsequent Charge Actions will be skipped. A player who has “Full Charge” will skip all further charge actions and will not be able to escape, remaining in the game until that round’s charge action is completed.

Charge Action established

Players take turns choosing a Charge Action, and a Charge Action is completed when one of the following situations occurs.

(1) If all participating players have the same amount of charge KP

This includes the case where everyone chooses a weight. In this case, proceed to the next phase of the game.

(2) If all but one person selects Escape.

In this case, the remaining player becomes the winner of the game and the game ends.

Meaning of Charge Action

(1) Express confidence in your hand.

If you are confident in your hand, choose actions that use a lot of KP. If you are confident in your hand, choose actions that use a lot of KP, such as “Re-Charge” or “Hyper Charge”.
On the other hand, if you are not confident in your hand, choose actions that don’t require a lot of KP. If you don’t feel confident at all, choose an action that doesn’t lose any KP, such as “Wait” or “Escape”.

(2) Reading your opponent(s)

Which action is the right one to choose depends largely on the situation and your opponent. One strategy might be to choose a meaningful action to outwit your opponent.
