Singularity University

After 10 weeks in California, yesterday I got back to Portugal. It’s 4am, I’m in Lisbon and I’m trying to deal with jet lag. Not an easy thing to do.

Singularity University (SU) was, without a doubt, the most intense experience of my life. For 10 weeks, all I had to do was to learn, build and dream. We didn’t need to worry about anything else. Life was perfect back at the SU bubble. Everyone was working on something super cool, everyone felt humble, privileged and blessed for being part of such an amazing family and we all wanted to positively impact the world. In these 10 weeks I’ve learned that nothing is impossible. I’ve learned that we live in the most exciting times and I’ve also learned that the world faces big challenges, being climate change one of the biggest.

Regarding my project, Women Moving the World will keep rocking. We are still figuring out the model and how it’s going to work, but we are excited with what is coming next. We received great feedback and lots of support from companies, governments and NGO’s.

Part of me is still in NASA. Part of me is still with the amazing people I’ve met. But, the other part of me is excited with what is coming. For most of us, SU helped us take a step back from our lives and rethink our goals and direction. What is going to happen next? Not sure!! But I have a few ideas that I’ll be sharing in the upcoming weeks!!

This is the final blog post about my adventure at SU. It was great for me to share this adventure with all of you. Thanks for the feedback messages and emails.
