It’s what we hope never to hear.
For this month’s prompt, I encourage you to explore what comes after receiving a difficult diagnosis.
Who learns the news first, if at all? What will the patient do with the time they have left? Who helps them move forward?
Poetry, fiction and personal essay are all accepted.
