Hey all, welcome back! This week we are going to take a look at my book’s 3rd out of 8 takeaways: Culture

Culture is one of the most interesting aspects to talk about because like people, all cultures are different.

There’s company culture, there’s department culture, then there’s team culture. Each one varies ever so slightly within each company. And from company to company the differences only shift further on the spectrum.

After interviewing employees and researching some of top creative companies, I was able to categorize some of the core components of culture.

Culture is the key that unlocks companies, leaders, and employees truest human potential, from both a creative and growth standpoint.

Some of the main aspects that allow for this potential are:

  1. Transparent leaders
  2. Perfect balance of work and play
  3. Constant remembrance of the growth mindset
  4. Psychological safety
  5. Trust and empathy
  6. Staying true to the companies values, vision, and goals
  7. Environment

I invite you to read more about these components in my book — The Creative Company: How Creative Execution and Empathy Result in Long-term Value

Have a phenomenal week! 🚀❤️🥇
