One of the most common advice for writers and bloggers is to write on a niche.

One reason is that a niche, being a prevailing theme in one’s writings can help you reach a more targeted market. This will also simplify your efforts when it comes to thinking about what to write.

As an example, a writer can focus on writing about making money. When doing so, the common posts that readers can see from one’s blog or website are about tips to earn, suggested income streams and guides to start a business or a side hustle.

It could be a very effective way to start one’s writing journey, especially online and on platforms such as Medium or Substack. Later on, however, writers may realize that writing in a niche may not work at all times. In fact, writers may discover that it could no longer be working for them.
