5 gifts which I will not give to my dad, but I will give him some special

Happy Father’s day already in few days!

Shops have been prepared for this occasion for long time and we can find in them a lot of cool gifts. Anyway, we do not even have to leave home, because on eBay or Amazon we can buy almost everything. But really, do we have to think of the gift, expensive and sophisticated, an ideal one? I don’t think so.

My ideas for a gift? They are not obvious.

  1. I will not buy my father a new tie — because he doesn’t wear ties too often.
  2. I will not take him to the shop with expensive watches- because I don’t have so much money.
  3. I will not give him another cup, socks or a new tracksuit- because he has plenty of them.
  4. I will not order a super alcohol and hand it to him — because I take care of his health.
  5. I will not give him another set for shaving- because I just gave it to him.

So what do I want to give to him?

How to show him that I love him so much?

It is easy! The most important in this day is my presence by him. I believe that every gift is not so much worth what a day spent together — because it is a special day, the feast of my dad.

I don’t think about the gift, I will not buy it. I want to spend this day in another way.

I will organize a day out in a restaurant; barbecue or I will make a picnic. We will all sit down with the whole family at the table and we will enjoy each other. We will tell each other what happened in the last week or a month, or maybe we will come back to the old days when I was little and dad was taking care of me.

Probably we will laugh at the fact that my mother was forbidding me few things whilst my dad was allowing them.

Even at the time, when I was rude and punished, and was sitting alone in my room whilst the rest of the family played in the garden- it was good to me (of course at that time I had a different opinion:) as I know that because of that I am who I am, wise and valuable woman. I owe it to Mum and Dad!

I love them more than life, so this day I want to spend as best as possible, from the morning to the evening, with my lovely dad.

I love you Dad very much and I will shout it out to you on your Special Day.
