Nutritional Ketosis is a dietary approach that turns all the old “healthy” rules you learned on its head.
How is that possible?
Because what you were told is healthy could very well be fully wrong.
What do you eat on a Ketogenic diet?
- Lots of fats
- Moderate protein (more on why you need to keep it moderate later)
- Very little carbs
Hang on! How much of each?
- Fats = around 70% of your diet
- Protein = around 25% of your diet
- Carbs = around 5% of your diet
I used this calculator to determine my macros.
My exact macro right now are:
- Fat = 68% (100 grams maximum per day)
- Protein = 24% (80 grams per day)
- Carbs = 8% (25 g per day)
Lots of people, scientists, bio-hackers and nutritionist are experimenting with nutritional ketosis and finding amazing results, not just for weight loss but for overall health and healing.
