Making a list and checking it twice — they were mostly naughty and rarely nice! There’s my quick appraisal of oldies bands.

Here’s the list of oldies I backed: The Shirelles, Crystals, Marvelettes, Dubs, Moonglows, Chiffons, Joey Dee, Chubby Checker, and finally, the Belmonts. Check on them all. I played either the bass or guitar behind every one.
