At Tom’s Place, Lake City, Florida
When I think back on all the places I visited as a journeyman road musician, some memories I recall with fondness — and others in dismay. One of the former harkens back to my 6 months working for Joey Dee as a Starlighter — and at an out-of-the-way club we played called “Tom’s Place,” located in the bustling metropolis of Lake City, Florida.
