My Night At The Village Gate

Now long gone, the Village Gate was a jazz institution in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of New York City. To be a musician who’d actually performed there was akin to a baseball hopeful actually getting to play in a major league game.

The Gate being mostly about jazz, left me out in the cold as I was never really a jazz…
