I made the call back but didn’t get the part
My last hurrah in the music business was with a label to which I never should have submitted anything in the first place. Their sensibilities were not mine. But I persisted and managed to almost land a deal with them twice. The first occasion I’ve already chronicled. The second really was a shot in the dark.
