God’s Masterpiece

Sometimes you wonder why God is so good to you. You wonder what you did to deserve such goodness. Early on in my relationship, I came to a revelation of what the scriptures meant by ‘finding a wife and finding favour.’ I felt so much joy in my soul and I knew that this is indeed what God’s favour looks like.

Every time I think about Abisola, there is always something I’m grateful for. I could write a love note every single day. There isn’t really anything called writer's block if you find someone like Abisola.

This piece is called God’s Masterpiece and that exactly how I felt when I penned it. And almost 5 years later, I have not changed my mind about that. She is still a masterpiece to behold; a divine mystery unraveling; answers to prayer unfolding. Abisola, you are a masterpiece.

You’re one of a kind; God’s handiwork;
God couldn’t have found any materials to form you in the realm of time
The materials needed for your completion couldn’t all be found on earth

He took the best of the best, awesome physique, lovely poise, bright smile
He had to still make adjustments to the best the earth had to offer
He added an excellent skin tone, complexion and height for the outside

But for the content, nothing on earth, in Heaven or underneath the earth had the quality He had in mind
He had to look within himself, He took of His spirit

You required much detail and accuracy that He had to do the design outside the realm of time
Where there is no hurry, no error, no night, no day, all light, all perfect

You were first conceived in His heart and then He brought you forth
Since then, the earth hasn’t been able to totally unravel such a wonder
Day after day, the light of Christ bursts forth from your spirit, causing more surprises
Moment after moment the Life of Christ takes up more ground and makes you even less predictable

Behold the handmaid of the Lord, blessed are you among women, blessed is the fruit of your womb
