We’ve been hard at work improving My Meeting Video the last few months. We’ve redesigned the interface to work on all screen sizes, including Android phones and tablet.
So what else is new, aside from the app working on phones?
See a list of recent and missed calls
You can now see a list of recent incoming, outgoing and missed calls from within the app. The app fetches recent calls from all of your devices, not just on the device where the app is installed.
Find contacts and rooms in separate tabs
Your company directory is now separated into contacts and rooms — and each list is now sorted alphabetically. Find all of your company video meeting rooms from the rooms tab. You can now scroll quickly to the person you’re looking for with the fast scroller.
Universal search
You can now search for any contact, room or meeting from any tab within the app.
Type in a full video address for a contact or room to call someone outside your company.
Call contacts or rooms through audio data calls
We’re adding a new way to help you save data while calling someone or joining a video meeting room. Choose to call with a data audio call to only send and receive audio and use only 10 to 20 percent of the data compared with a video call.
See all your upcoming video meetings in one place
You can now see more than just your first upcoming meeting. Once you grant it permissions, the app will look for any calendar event on your device’s calendars that looks like a meeting where you can join through the app. The app does this by looking for any calendar event that contains a video room address.

We’re working hard to improve My Meeting Video, here’s a few things that are coming soon.
- Receive calls while your device is asleep or the app is in the background.
- See a list of participants in your room, both when joining the call on your iPhone, iPad, or when you’d like to manage your participants when in a call with a conference room video system.
- Easily invite someone while you’re in a call.
