For the past few years I have created an interactive game, Build Bingo, to play during Microsoft’s Build keynotes and 2019 is no different.

Play Build Bingo on May 6th

This year sees more phrases than ever before with a number of new additions, including:

  • Edge (Chromium)
  • Foldable PCs
  • Lite
  • Microsoft 365
  • Modern Desktop
  • Tech Intensity
  • Windows Core OS (WCOS)

If there are any words or phrases you think should be added then please let me know on Twitter, @MichaelGillett

The site has also had a fresh look applied that mirrors that of this year’s Build branding. I have emulated some of the Fluent Design elements too, such as the reflective glow and shadows from some of the elements on the page. For those interested in Fluent Design on the web, stay tuned as I am working on a new project that might be of interest...

The updated look for Build Bingo

Let me know your thoughts on the design of the site.

I will be attending Build this year for the first time and might struggle to actually play Build Bingo if the WiFi isn’t up to scratch so I am wondering about bring along some Build Bingo printouts to play at the conference. If you are also attending and would like a printout let me know so I can try and bring enough with me.

You can play Build Bingo on May 6th whilst watching the Build keynotes. Good luck and I look forward to seeing the high scores you all get!
