Within Four Walls

Within four walls I dare to dream,
I think, I hope, I plot and scheme,
To break these walls, to at last be free,
To claim the world that’s owed to me,
But terror stirs as the walls close in,
Is this a fight that I can win?
I clutch my heart to slow its pounds,
In hopes my strength knows no bounds.
