Time Lock — Hourglass
Published in

The hourglass will start turning tomorrow,
and each grain of sand will feel like a year passing by.
I wish
that time would last forever.
We are all bruised and healed, yet I want to hear you talk more,
as long as you need to, as long as I can.
And I want to understand the small tear.
How come a little drop could give such a powerful sense?
I’ve yet to discover more,
and I yearn to.
I know there’s a time for both of us,
but I can’ wait. Come back soon. Or I’ll be there soon as well.
