Stay happy this winter

Winter is rough, right?! It’s hard to keep chasing your health & fitness goals when summertime seems so far away and you’re all wrapped up like a cosy burrito in your winter clothes.

Sad, but true :’(

Really, the last thing you feel like eating is something as boring or unsatisfying as a salad.

Here in Australia, we think of ourselves as being pretty healthy. Yeah, maybe we like the odd mince pie or cheeky kebab on a Friday night, but overall, we do alright with our fruit & veg — right..?

Two out of three Australian adults are not eating enough veg

A recent report revealed that two thirds of us don’t fit five serves of veg into each day, while half of us don’t get the recommended two serves of fruit!

That’s very creative but a broccoli necklace is not going to make you healthier

What’s so good about vegetables anyway?

It’s not just silly government dietary guidelines saying more is better when it comes to vegetables.

Increased veggie intake is associated with serious benefits such as better gut health, reduced risk of heart disease, and a longer lifespan — and that’s just the big stuff!

The list of less major but still awesome side effects of eating more veggies includes:
