Yep, you read it right — HIIT is over.

HIIT’s sister HICT (or High Intensity Circuit Training) is taking over the fitness world.

The difference is slight, but the effect and shock to the system is amazing… well, if you want results from your workouts it is!

12 exercises is all it takes. 7 minutes of your life you’ll thank yourself for.

The concept is simple. Only 10 seconds of rest between exercises, with each exercise being carried out for only 30 seconds.

  • Jumping Jacks
  • Wall sit
  • Push up
  • Crunches
  • Step up (onto a chair or ledge)
  • Tricep dip (on a chair or ledge)
  • Plank
  • High knee running in place
  • Lunges
  • Side plank (left side)
  • Side plank (right side)
  • Tricep push up

Rapid succession with little rest is the key to success here, and let me tell you, it is NOT the same feeling as HIIT.

They’re closely related, but you’ll be desperate for those 10 seconds of rest when you’re done, and that’s the best part about it!

You will feel so fulfilled when the 7 minutes is up that you’ll schedule a repeat sesh in your training schedule that week. It’s THAT good.

While some exercise is better than none, with circuit training I would highly recommend more than just the basic 7 minutes.

Do it 2–3 times over and make it a serious 30 minutes! Sounds ridiculous right now, I understand, but if you WANT results, you WILL make it happen.

Those 30 minutes will challenge you, but they won’t break you. The accomplishment you will feel when you’re done is second to none! So go for it folks!
